Using the Dashboard

Using the Dashboard

Dashboards can be accesed through menu Analytics, where you select desired dashboard or by clicking on button Dashboards.  Both was will show you dashboards that are currently in your database.

Dashboard give you multiple options to work with. 

Dashboard options

In header of each dashboard you have different buttons:

  1. Export report 

If you click this button, all components of dashboard will be automatically transfered to newly created special report.

  1. Export as image 

This option will export whole dashboard (with current data) as image.

  1. Refresh 

This option will refresh whole dashboard with components.

  1. Edit 

This option will put dashboard in edit mode, where you can edit dashboard (only custom dashboard), duplicate dashboard or select dashboard as default

  1. Authorizations 

This option enables you to define authorization for individual ddashboard.

Dashboard component options

This options enable you to work with individual dashboard components. Options are accesible  differ from options: edit or no edit mode, license type, component type...

  1. Zoom

Zoom option will zoom individual component. When you zoom component you have an additional option to export component as image.

  1. Ad-Hoc

Ad-Hoc option will transfer SQL statement behind dashboard component to Ad-Hoc where you can preform additional analysis on this component.

  1. Refresh

This function will refresh selected component.

  1. Export to Excel

This option will export tabular component to Excel file.

  1. Save Settings

This option will save settings.

  1. Reset

Option will reset any changes, made to component.

  1. Delete

This option will delete selected component. Option is only availabe in edit mode and for higher licenses (ME and MF).

Use of data on dashboard element

If you have a table dashboard element, you can copy data from it's cells. When you click in a cell, it becomes editable (cell content is colored blue). When in edit mode, just press Ctrl+C (copy) to copy selected content somewhere else.

000001.gif You can only copy data from table dashboard elements that don't have doubleclick option on them. Some table dashboard elements have an option that openes codebook (subjects, items) if you double click on one of the cells. Such tables are in read-only mode so data copying is not possible.
