Year-end

The Year-end menu holds functions for creating posts at the close of the fiscal year:

1. Posting by templates

Shown here are the templates for automatic posting of the Y - Year-end type. Examples include:

• Close of expenses and income accounts - it creates a journal entry for closing of the expenses and income account,
• ( until 31st Dec, 2001) Revaluation of capital- revaluation (indexation) of capital with cost-of-living factors on the last day of fiscal year,
• ( until 31st Dec, 2001) Result of revaluation

All predefined templates for automatic posting are for illustrative purposes only. Check with your accounting department before using them as-is!

2. Year-end

This function creates a closing entry for the past fiscal year and an opening entry for the new fiscal year.
