Stock

Stock is defined as the goods received at the company's warehouse. In PANTHEON, you will find the documents for receiving, transferring and issuing stock from the warehouse. For facilitating better logistics and overview, multiple warehouses can be used for stock management.

HINT

For more information on stock, see the chapter Stock.

PANTHEON offers a wide range of tools for working with stock. These tools allow you to analyze stock with calculations and reports. They can help you reconcile and revalue stock before an inventory count. When the inventory count is complete, you need to reconcile the actual stock with the excess and shortage documents.

HINT

The basic stock settings can be defined in the panel Stock of the Items register.

The user guide is divided into the following chapters:

Stock overview

Reviewing stock accounts and reports helps a company to monitor and analyze its stock. PANTHEON provides several types of reports that can be used to monitor current stock, stock movements, hard allocations, minimum and maximum stock, etc. This chapter shows an example of how to create the most common reports for Tecta stock analysis.

Syncing inventory count

Syncing inventory count includes refreshing stock, reviewing negative stock items and revaluating stock. This chapter illustrates how the stock is synced, which needs to be carried out before the inventory count.

Creating inventory count

An inventory count is made to reconcile the quantity and the actual state of the items, products, stock, etc. This chapter describes how to create an inventory count at the BAR Department of the fictional company Tecta.
