Form settings can also be edited using SQL queries.

1. Form settings

The option to reset window settings can be accessed on all windows, by clicking the (Templates) button in the toolbar, and selecting Form Settings| Overview of SQL queries from the list.
 

 

HINT

The feature can also be accessed from the toolbar on the report preview.


2. Overview of SQL queries

The Edit SQL Queries window opens.

HINT

In case you want to view SQL queries of all currently open forms, click the Collect button and select the desired form in the Open forms window.

If you are only interested in the form/report from which you started, skip this step.

 

By double-clicking into the Form datasets window, we select the appropriate dataset.

The resulting SQL query can be used for:

(Add to Ad-hoc analysis) further analysis using Ad-hoc analyses,
(New SQL form) further analysis using the SQL Query Builder,
(Execute) Simplified overview of results using the SQL Editor.
