Double-clicking the variable in the
Variables list displays it in the Formula field. In the bottom section you can view description of variables included in formula.
Commands from calculator in Parameters panel can also be transferred to Formulas.

Formula Data

Formula

Displays a formula used in order to calculate data.
You can also modify it - the modification is then recorded in the database. In the end you just have to confirm it clicking ..

Test- Clicking it performs calculation using the formula (if available). Data are then displayed in the bottom section of formula builder (value and result).

Parameters Here you can add values to formulas using a calculator.

Earnings Type

The above fields appear when using variables from Payroll Preparation.
Select between earnings types from the register of Earnings Types.
Select types of variables.
Clicking Use in Formula displays created formula in the bottom panel section.

Test
Here you can test if the formulas function accordingly. The panel operns by clicking Test tab or by clicking Test.

Variable

Here you can see displayed individual variables that you previously entered in Parameters.
If a variable in formula is incorrect (e.g. incorrect
formula syntax), it will not be displayed in variables or line.

Value |
Here you can enter a value of individual variable when testing formula. Thus you can check whether the formula works accordingly. You can change it at will and save any changes. |
Testing Formula

Clicking Test displays result of formula tests in the bottom section.
Clicking Use allows you to transfer a fixed or newly-created formula to Formula |
Earnings Types. It will be used automatically.
