Events Tree Structure

Events Tree Structure
In the Events tree structure, the events are sorted into several folders, where they are sorted by:
- the company of the informer
- a contact person in the company (name of the informer)
- status (whether the event is open or closed)

Public |
Public events are those that are marked as such by Datalab.
- This mostly includes all incident reports. In this way, you can see whether the incident you have encountered has already been reported, or if a note has already been written and with that (indirectly) also information on if it has already been fixed.
- This also includes all notifications to the users of the program and to the help desk, for who Datalab wishes to reach the widest possible range of potentially interested parties.
|
All |
All events (incident reports) of your company, regardless of their status and regardless of the contact person from the company, who reported the event.
- So, this is the sum of the reports that can be found in the "All open" and "All closed" folders.
|
All opened |
All events (incidents) of your company that are not yet closed, regardless of the contact person from the company who reported the event. |
My opened |
All events (incidents) of the currently logged in user that are not yet closed. |
All my |
All events (incidents) of the currently logged-in user, regardless of their status.
- These are all the incident reports found in "My open" and "My closed" folders.
|
My closed |
All events (incidents) of the currently logged-in user that are already closed. |
All closed |
All events (incidents) of your company that are already closed, regardless of the contact person from the company who reported the event. |

Knowledge database |
The events that are sorted into the knowledge database are those that I have listed in Datalab.
- This mostly includes answers to questions that frequently arise, or explanations that concern a wider range of interested parties.
- The knowledge database may also include events that are already listed in the "Public" folder, when it makes sense.
