Setting up work records

At the user level, the buttons for work obligations in the header of My records can be set as desired in user settings. You can choose which buttons are visible and in what order of appearance.

This chapter shows how to modify the display of buttons and their order of appearance

CASE SUMMARY

The person responsible does not see the button for recording lunch breaks and private exit in My records, because it is not displayed. She would also like to edit the order of these buttons. This is done in the following steps:

  1. Opening the window My records
  2. Modifying the display of buttons
  3. Modifying the order of appearance

1. Opening the window My records

The person responsible wants to modify the display of buttons for recording working hours.

To do this, the person responsible selects the module Personnel and the submodule Work records from the main menu.

A window on the tab My records opens.

The person responsible can now modify the display of the buttons.

2. Modifying the display of buttons

In the header of the window My records, the person responsible wants to have the buttons for recording lunch breaks and private exits displayed.

WARNING

In the user settings, this menu item is only visible when you are in the module Work records.

To modify the display of buttons, the person responsible clicks the logged-in user: DIRECTOR.

From the drop-down list, the person responsible selects Work record settings.

This opens the window Button display settings with a set of buttons.

In addition to the button Regular work, the person responsible also selects the buttons Private exit and Lunch break.

by checking the relevant checkboxes in the column Show.

To confirm the selection, the person responsible clicks the button Save.

The selected buttons appear in the header of the window My records.

Once the desired buttons are displayed, the person responsible can modify their order of appearance.

3. Modifying the order of appearance

The person responsible wants the buttons to be displayed in the following order: Regular work, Private exit, Lunch break, Weekend, Departure.

To modify the order of appearance of these buttons, the person responsible clicks the user again and selects Work record settings from the drop-down list.

A window opens, where the person responsible selects the button they want to move: Private exit.

By clicking the arrow down/up icon and using the drag and drop function, the person responsible moves the button to the desired position.

The same procedure is repeated for the button Lunch break.

The person responsible saves the changes by clicking the button Save.

Now the buttons in My records are arranged according to the preferences of the person responsible.
