Send SMS

With the Send SMS block, you can integrate the sending of SMS text messages from a workflow.. You can send SMS messages to business partners whose phone number and consent is recorded in the Subjects register.
The block can be accessed from the menu Settings | Documentation | Workflow Design by clicking the panel Design | Input/Output.

Double-clicking the Send SMS block opens the Send SMS window with block settings:

For the Send SMS block to work properly, it is necessary to create and properly configure the mailbox in the menu Settings | Program | Administration Panel | Settings | Documentation | Mailboxes in PANTHEON.

The window is divided into 3 sections.

1. Header
In the form header, select the mailbox for sending SMS messages.

From the drop-down list, select the mailbox that will be used to send SMS messages (it must have been created beforehand).

2. List of operations with details
This section shows the related SMS operations with details.

Operation
|
When the mailbox is selected, the identifier for the data search used in the workflow, e.g. the type of method, such as URL, is displayed.

Data
|
Displays any data, e.g. the path to use the variable from the mailbox and from the workflow.
|
3. Fields
This section shows the fields where you need to define the source for sending SMS messages, the sender and recipient, and the text content of the message.

Resource
|
Shows all available methods for the selected mailbox.
|
Request timeout s
|
If needed, enter the request timeout in seconds.
|
Sender
|
Enter the sender of the text message.
|
Recipient
|
Enter the recipient of the text message.
|
Text
|
Enter the text (content) of the text message.
|
Reset
|
Returns all field values to default or empty.
|
OK
|
Saves information and closes the window.
|
Cancel
|
Closes window without saving.
|
