Entry of a group of animals

Some species of animals are not recorded individually, but in a group. When the veterinarian first addresses a group of animals, the group is entered into the program, where a unique code for the group of animals is created.

We have prepared examples for adding new groups of different species of animals for you. Creating a new record for a group of animals is done via the button  (+ New group) on the form Owner and animal code list.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, read in The PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Basic data.

We have divided the manual into the following chapters:

Entry of poultry

Poultry is raised in groups (flocks). The PANTHEON VET program allows for data management by groups of animals. In this chapter, we have prepared an example of entering a new code for a flock of broilers and the related data for the group of animals.

Entry of pigs

Pigs can be raised individually or in a group (farrowing pens, feeding pens). In this chapter, we have prepared an example of entering a new code for a group of pigs and the related data for the species of animals.
