SMS Settings
On the tab SMS Settings we edit the default settings for sending SMS messages. SMS messages allow us to inform our clients about upcoming appointments.
In this chapter, we will present an example of SMS message settings.

CASE DESCRIPTION
The receptionist wants to set the default settings for SMS messages. She does this by following these steps:
- Selecting SMS Settings in the Administrator Console
- Editing SMS settings

1. Selecting SMS Settings in the Administrator Console
The responsible person selects from the menu Settings | Program | Administrator Console.
The Administrator Console opens.
Selects Settings | Veterinary and the tab SMS Settings.

2. Editing SMS settings
The responsible person starts editing the default SMS Settings for Appointment and Vaccination.
In the field Default SMS text for Appointment from the dropdown list of suggestions, selects: Appointment.

In the field Send SMS before the next appointment (in days) enters the data on how many days before the appointment an SMS with appointment details is sent to the client: 3.

In the field Default SMS text for Vaccination from the dropdown list of suggestions, selects: Vaccination.
In the field Send SMS before the next vaccination (in days) enters the data on how many days before the vaccination an SMS with appointment details is sent to the client: 40.

In the field Business process from the dropdown list selects Business process for sending general SMS messages.
Among the business processes in the code list, selects: SMS Vet.
