Entry into settings for veterinarians

Form Settings for veterinarians allows editing settings for individual veterinarians. It is important to define the type of document (business events) for each veterinarian, which are linked to the mobile VET application and numbers for insemination slips.

The functionality is located in the menu Veterinary | Codes | Settings for veterinarians.

TIP

Technical instructions regarding settings can be read in the Guide to PANTHEON VET chapter Settings.

In this chapter, we will present an example of entering settings for a veterinarian.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EXAMPLE

The receptionist wants to enter a new settings record for veterinarian Valentin Veterinar into the settings for veterinarians. This is done through the following steps:

  1. Opening Settings for veterinarians
  2. Entering a new position
  3. Entering settings

1. Opening Settings for veterinarians

The responsible person wants to enter settings for veterinarian Valentin Veterinar.

In the menu, they select Veterinary | Codes | Settings for veterinarians.

A window opens with data on already entered settings for active veterinarians.

They proceed to enter new settings for veterinarian Valentin.

2. Entering a new position

The responsible person selects an existing position. By clicking the function key INSERT they add a new empty position.

In the columns, they start entering data or settings for veterinarian Valentin.

3. Entering settings

In the column Veterinarian they select the active user or veterinarian from the dropdown list: Valentin Veterinar.

If the company has multiple business units, they specify in which unit the user operates in the column Branch. They can also specify a department within one unit here.

In our example, the branch is left empty, and they proceed to Mobile warehouse: Warehouse Valentin VET.

TIP

The mobile warehouse is the warehouse that the veterinarian uses in the field.

WARNING

The data is MANDATORY if the mobile VET application is used.

In the column Inseminator code they enter the code issued to the veterinarian by the Veterinary Chamber: 999.

They continue with the entry of License no. of the veterinarian, which is assigned by the Veterinary Chamber; in our example, they enter: 974213.

Column Document type is intended for defining the type of document for creating a case: HCL3 - Field Valentin Veterinar.

TIP

The procedure for creating a new document type for cases can be read in the chapter Creating a document type Case.

With the checkbox Veterinarian they indicate whether it is actually a veterinarian. In our example, the box is checked.

TIP

If the person is not a veterinarian but, for example, an administrator or veterinary technician, then the checkbox is NOT checked.

The responsible person indicates that the veterinarian is active in the column A, by checking the checkbox.

In the final step, they also specify Color with which the occupancy of individual veterinarians is displayed and distinguished at Reception.

They save the settings for the selected veterinarian by clicking on the navigation keys on the keyboard  (Down) and (Up).

TIP

Deleting a record or position is possible with the key combination CTRL + DELETE.
