New order

In the tab Order we can create a new order for examination with Zoetis - Vetscan devices.

We create a new order by clicking the button  (New order).

 In this chapter, we have described an example of creating a new order.

DESCRIPTION of the example The responsible person wants to create a new order for a blood test for the French hound owned by Luka Brak. They create a new order and fill in the details about the sample, owner, animal, and select the service they are ordering. They also enter a note and send the order. They do this by following these steps: Opening the Order tab Creating a new order Entering data in the General section Entering data about the owner Entering data about the animal Selecting the service Entering a note Sending the order

1. Opening the Order tab

The responsible person selects Veterinary | Online health reports | Zoetis - VetScan. 

Then they select the tab Order.

They continue with creating a new order.

2. Creating a new order

By clicking the button  (New order) they open a blank form for creating an order.

They continue with entering data.

3. Entering data in the General section

The fields Customer order code and PIMS name are automatically filled in when creating a new order.

In the field Veterinarian's name they select Valentin Veterinar.

In the field Sample date they enter the date 18.01.2023.

They continue with entering data about the owner.

4. Entering data about the owner

In the section Owner, in the field Subject they select the animal owner - Luka Brak from the list.

The other fields are automatically filled with data.

They continue with entering data about the animal.

5. Entering data about the animal

In the section Animal they enter data about the animal.

In the field Animal ID they select the animal ID - ID000035 from the list

In the field Name the data is automatically entered.

In the field Gender they specify the gender of the animal - Female (Slov. female).

In the field Animal species they select dog (Slov. dog).

In the field Breed the data is automatically entered.

They continue with selecting the service.

6. Selecting the service

In the section Services the responsible person enters the tests they want to order.

They click on the position in the field Test name and select the service HEM - Hematology.

The data about the service is automatically filled in the position.

With the down arrow key, the position is saved.

WARNING The services available are transferred from the Zoetis web server.

7. Entering a note

In the text field Note/Short history they enter a note for the order if necessary.

8. Sending the order

By clicking the button Send order they send the order.

The order is saved and is visible in the list of orders in the section Order history.
