Documentation

In the veterinary clinic, the most important documentation is the reports of animals, which are obtained during the treatment process of the animals. Reports can be obtained from various sources (X-ray, ultrasound, biochemistry, CT, magnetic resonance, laboratories, etc.).

In this chapter, we will present an example of setting the location of the folder from which the PANTHEON VET program should retrieve files - reports. The functionality is located in the menu Settings | Program | Types of documents | Treatment.

TIP

For more detailed information about the program forms, read in the PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Types of documents.

CASE DESCRIPTION

In the veterinary clinic, they received new equipment, which allows them to collect blood test results. The equipment saves the final result in electronic form in a specific folder. Theresponsible person in the veterinary clinic wants to adjust the settings in PANTHEON VET, so that the veterinarian can later retrieve the report for the treatment of the animal. The process is described below.

The responsible person in The document type codebook finds the desired type of document Treatment, on which they want to set up the retrieval of reports from a specific folder (location).

  • By clicking on   (three dots) in The toolbar a search window opens.

  • The responsible person selects from the list in our example: CLI3 - Clinic. Clicks the button Confirm.

  • Clicks on the tab Documentation.
  • The responsible person in the table in the field Classification selects the appropriate classification from the dropdown list. In our case: 93 - veterinary.
WARNING

The classification codebook must be set up in advance. The detailed setup process is described in the chapter Classification plan.

  •  In the field Bythey enter the location of the folder from which they want the PANTHEON VET program to retrieve files for the treatment document. In our case, they enter: \\dump\files\MarkJ\BESTIA\reports.
  • The entry in the table row is saved by changing the position (arrow down, up on the keyboard).
