Creating a new type of document Treatment
New code for type of documents Treatment is created when the veterinary company expands its business scope and opens additional clinics or perhaps reorganizes the work process. Newly created documents allow for the selection of any user-defined settings.
In this chapter, we present an example of creating a new document type Treatment.

CASE DESCRIPTION
Due to the reorganization of work in the veterinary clinic, the responsible person wants to create a new type of document Treatment CLI4 - CLINIC. They do this in the following way.

The responsible person wants to open Document type code list, where they will create a new type of document.

- To create a new type of document Treatment, they click in the toolbar on the button
(Enter record).

A new blank document opens, where they will define the desired settings below.

- In the field Code they enter the document code: CLI4.

- In the field Short name they enter: OBRA.

- In the field Name they enter: Clinic 2.

- In the field Archive they select storage for the document: DMS0 from the dropdown list.

Warning
You must have the coded document type settings for Archive and the associated settings set up beforehand. Read more about the settings in the chapter Document Archive.

- In the field Classification they select the document classification: 93 - VETERINARY from the dropdown list.

- Save the settings with the button
(Save changes).
- They continue with detailed settings on the document tabs.
