Treatment

Treatment  is a record on a document (animal file) that is created during each animal examination. The treatment includes data about the owner and examined animals, anamnesis and diagnosis, treatment procedure or vaccination, as well as used medications and services. In this way, the responsible person influences the stock status in the warehouse (pharmacy) and prepares the basis for issuing an invoice.

We have prepared a user manual for you, which shows examples of data entry on the treatment document. Access to documents Treatments and offered functionalities is available in the menu Veterinary | Treatment.

TIP

Read more detailed information about the program's forms in PANTHEON VET Guide, in the chapter Treatment.

We have divided the manual into the following chapters:

Entering treatment (general)

Treatment is the basic document where data about the treated animal is recorded. The animal may undergo a preventive examination, be sick, or injured. Owners bring animals for regular vaccinations. In the field, veterinarians perform insemination. All documentation obtained during the animal examination process is stored with the treatment documents. After the animal's treatment is completed, data about the used materials, medications, and procedures are recorded, which serve as the basis for preparing an invoice for the owner. In this chapter, we have prepared a general example of data entry on the treatment document for you.

Copy data

The veterinarian can treat multiple animals of the same owner simultaneously. When the animals are of the same species and have the same anamnesis, the veterinarian can speed up data entry by copying data from the first animal to the other animals in the treatment.

In this chapter, we will present an example of copying data from one animal to others in the same treatment.

History

Animal history review provides a comprehensive overview of events recorded for the animal. This allows the veterinarian to review documentation (reports, etc.) and all created treatments in one place, gaining a quick insight into the animal's health status.

In this chapter, we will present an example of quick access to Animal history review from the document Treatment

Printout

During the animal treatment process, the veterinarian records data about anamnesis and diagnosis, as well as the treatment procedure and used materials (medications, etc.). This creates the so-called Ambulatory journal, which can be easily printed or sent via email upon the owner's request. In this chapter, we will present an example of printing the Ambulatory journal during treatment.

Label printing

Veterinarians often record data about used medications or the animal's treatment procedure in special records required by the animal's owner (Farm book). The PANTHEON Vet program enables easy printing of labels with the necessary data, which speeds up the entry process, especially when there are multiple animals. In this chapter, we will present an example of printing a label for entry into the Farm book.

Complete treatment

Treatment documents can be assigned different statuses, indicating whether the animal's treatment is still in progress or has been completed. The treatment status facilitates communication between various employees in the veterinary clinic or between reception and the clinic. In this chapter, we will present an example of how to change the status on the treatment document when the entry is completed.

Open treatment

Veterinarians attach all documentation of the examined animal to the treatment. It may happen that additional documents or notes need to be added to a completed treatment. For this purpose, the treatment is reopened, and the document is added. In this chapter, we will present an example of how to reopen a completed treatment.

Owner/animal entry

Data about the owner and animal are basic details that the responsible person in the veterinary clinic enters into the treatment document. They can be added in various ways (manually, via a scanner) and from different sources (import from the Volos portal, manually - by adding a new animal). We have prepared examples and descriptions of functionalities located in the tab Owner/animal entry.

Treatment

During the animal treatment process, the veterinarian provides detailed data about anamnesis, diagnosis, and other measurements. Various examinations can be performed, such as parasitological examination or dental check-up. When determining the diagnosis of the treated animal, the veterinarian can use a graphical representation of the animal's weight changes. The treatment process also generates various documentation (reports, images, etc.), which the veterinarian can easily add to the treatment while reviewing previous treatment records and obtained health documentation.

We have prepared examples and descriptions of functionalities located in the tab Treatment.

Insemination

Insemination is performed by veterinarians in the field. Data is most often entered via Mobile VET application. On the treatment document, data about the sire and consecutive insemination can be seen. We have prepared examples and descriptions of functionalities located in the tab Insemination

Vaccination

Animal vaccination is carried out in accordance with legislation and current guidelines. During vaccination, the vaccine used, the date of vaccination, and the next scheduled vaccination date are recorded. The animal may also be treated with other medications during vaccination. For this purpose, packages combining multiple items can be prepared. We have prepared examples and descriptions of functionalities located in the tab Vaccination.

Insurance

Animal insurance enables co-financing for owners to cover veterinary costs in case of illness or injury. In the program, data about the insurance policy and its validity are entered. We have prepared examples and descriptions of functionalities located in the tab Insurance.

Performed service

Treatment documents in the veterinary clinic serve as the basis for preparing the final document, which can be an invoice or delivery note. In the tab Performed service services, materials, medications, etc., are entered. Once the final document is generated, changes to the treatment are no longer possible. We have prepared examples and descriptions of functionalities for creating documents that conclude the treatment.

Wizards Wizards offer additional functionalities that users need in their work or shortcuts to them. We have prepared examples and descriptions of functionalities accessible on treatment documents via the button Wizards.
Printouts

Treatment documents contain a variety of data that users need for different purposes: reports to the state, personal records, information for owners, etc. For this purpose, various printout formats are prepared, combining desired data for users. We have prepared descriptions of possible printouts and examples of their preparation.

Import/Export data

The PANTHEON VET program enables easy and fast functionality for importing and exporting various data from the Treatment. We have prepared examples and descriptions of functionalities for importing and exporting data that are available.
