Discard

When entering data for processing, the user may inadvertently make a change or not want to save the entered data. For this purpose, they can easily cancel the changes made by clicking the button Discard.

In this chapter, we will present an example of using the button Discard. The functionality is located in the menu Veterinary | Processing.

WARNING The button Discard only deletes the entry of those data that we have not yet saved.

CASE DESCRIPTION The receptionist wanted to add a comment about the data from the report for the puppy, which they received later. Since they were not attentive, they started entering the data in the wrong processing. They canceled the procedure.

• The responsible person in the veterinary clinic searched for the processing for the dog for which they received the laboratory report later. The search procedure is described in detail in the chapter  Searching by the Animal History Form or in the chapter Open Cases.

• From the list, they inadvertently opened the wrong processing and had already started entering text in the field Veterinarian's Note.

• Before they saved the entry, they realized that they were in the wrong processing, so they clicked the button Discard.
