Numbers for artificial insemination - pigs

Table on the tab Pigs in the section Entering numbers for artificial insemination is intended for entering the range of numbers for artificial insemination and re-insemination of pigs, which is obtained by each veterinarian.

TIP

More about entering numbers for artificial insemination can be read in the PANTHEON VET Guide in the chapter Numbers for artificial insemination.

In the following, we show you an example of entering artificial insemination numbers for pigs.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EXAMPLE

The responsible person wants to enter the numbers for artificial insemination of pigs for veterinarian Valentin Veterinarian in the settings for veterinarians. They do this by following these steps:

  1. Opening Settings for veterinarians
  2. Entering numbers for artificial insemination of pigs

1. Opening Settings for veterinarians

The responsible person wants to enter the numbers for artificial insemination of cattle for veterinarian Valentin Veterinarian.

In the menu, they select Veterinary | Codes | Settings for veterinarians.

In the section Entering numbers for artificial insemination they navigate to the tab Pigs.

They continue by entering numbers for artificial insemination of pigs for veterinarian Valentin.

2. Entering numbers for artificial insemination of pigs

In the upper part of the window, they click on the veterinarian, Valentin Veterinarian, for whom they want to enter numbers in the section Entering numbers for artificial insemination .

Below are empty fields where they start entering data:

  • In the field Insemin. from they enter the initial insemination number: 10000.
  • The field Insemin. to is intended for entering the final insemination number. In our case, they enter: 10100.
TIP

If the number already exists in the records table or if the number is less than the starting number, the program will report an error.

  • In the field Used GO they enter the data about the already used numbers by the veterinarian. When entering numbers for the first time, the number of used GO in this field is marked with / as shown in the image below.

They continue by entering numbers for re-inseminations:

  • In the field Re. insemin. from they enter the initial re-insemination number: 20100.
  • The field Re. insemin. to is intended for entering the final re-insemination number. In our case, they enter: 20200.
TIP

If the number already exists in the records table or if the number is less than the starting number, the program will report an error.

  • In the field Used  they enter the data about the already used numbers by the veterinarian.
