Volos

When the owner of cattle arrives at the veterinary clinic, the responsible person can transfer the animal data from the national web portal Volos. 

In this chapter, we will present an example of importing cattle data into the treatment document using the button  (Volos). The functionality is located in the treatment documents found in the menu Veterinary | Treatment, tab Owner / Animal Entry.​

CASE DESCRIPTION The owner of cattle, Gregor Holstein, arrives at the veterinary clinic wanting to buy a mineral-vitamin complex for the calves. The receptionist imports the cattle data from the Volos portal into the treatment document and then issues a dietary supplement for the calves to the owner. This is done in the following steps: Creating the treatment document Importing animal data from the Volos portal Creating an invoice

1. Creating the treatment document

The responsible person at the veterinary clinic creates the treatment document upon the owner's arrival, where they can enter data about the treatment of the animals and the issuance of the mineral-vitamin complex for the calves.

WARNING The detailed procedure for searching for an owner or animal is described in the chapter Search. In case the owner is not yet registered in the program, you first register them in the Owner/Animal Register. The detailed procedure for entering new data is described in the chapter Owner Entry.

2. Importing animal data from the Volos portal

The responsible person continues entering data into the treatment for the animals for which the mineral-vitamin complex will be issued. They will import the data from the Volos portal. 

• The responsible person clicks on the button Volos.

The animals added to the treatment are shown in the image below. 

3. Creating an invoice

The responsible person continues entering data.

• In the tab Owner / Animal Entry specifies The type of treatment: Group treatment.

•  Continues in the tab Service Provided, where they will record the issuance of the mineral-vitamin complex and create an invoice.
