Main units of measurement

 

The Main units of measurement register can be found within the Items/products register/tab.

The Main units of measurement register is used for entering simple units of measurement such as piece, liter, day etc. Each unit can be assigned an international code.

 The window can be divided into two sections:

  1. Command line – with the action button: New (opens a new page).
  2. List of main units of measurement – the biggest part of the screen with units and their codes. You can search through the list of measurement units in the Search field by name, code, reference, or unit.

The list shows the following columns: 

Code

Max. 3-character alphanumerical (speaking) code of unit of measurement.

Inter. code

International code of the units of measurement (e. g. for “piece”, the abbreviation PCE is used).

Name

A max. 15-character description of the unit of measurement.
