New job

 

The action button New job can be found in the right of the command line in the Personnel register/tab.

On the left, the command line lists all the registers as clickable tabs. On the right, you can find a button specifically for the Jobs register: New job.

Clicking on this button opens the General position information panel for adding a job to the register.

The toolbar now changes and shows the buttons Save and X (Cancel).

The fiels with the general information of a job are:

Active

Enable this toggle button to mark if the job is active, i. e. possible to be occupied by employees.

Job

Job title for the new position of employment.

Job is mandatory data. If you do not enter it, the program marks the field red and does not let you save the job.

Name (long)

Long name of this job (up to 100 characters).

Superior position

From the drop-down menu, select the job superior to the new job. This is useful if you want to build the company’s hierarchical structure.

Department

From the drop-down menu, select the department where the new job is positioned. This is a default value, applied from the Employee files | General, but can also be changed afterwards.

After entering all the required data, click on the Save button in the upper-right corner of the panel.
