Document types

 

Document types enable a systematic way of creating documents in PANTHEON. Settings defined on an individual document type enable easier document management in all company processes, such as monitoring documents, posting, etc. The Document Types register is in the menu Settings | Program | Document Type.

Describing document types in the Tecta database

In Tecta, business processes are defined in detail and document types follow this. Document types are used to systematically collect documents. This chapter presents the Document Type register used in Tecta, our fictional company.
