If the employee is incapable of work because of injury at work or occupational disease, the employer must pay the allowance to employee from its own resources up to 30 working days for each single absence from work.

Pay allowance from the day 31 is borne by the health insurance.

Under Article 31 of the Health Insurance Act is the amount of the pay allowance for incapability of work because of injury at work or occupational disease, borne by the health insurance, 100% of the salary basis.

According to Paragraph 7 of the Article 137 of the Employment Relationship Act, employee is entitled to pay allowance in the amount of his avarage monthly salary of last three months or of the period of last three months. If the employee has in the last three months received no salary, he is entitled to the allowance in the amounth of the minimumsalary.
