Cash Receipt - Posts

Cash Receipt - Posts

Cash receipts can be posted from the automatic posting of cash transactions menu or directly from the document.

This can be done in the Posts panel.

The overview of the data in the panel:

Posts

You can find data about the post in the Posts panel after the automatic posting has been successfully performed. The journal entry for posting may be directly opened by double-clicking the journal entry ID. By double-clicking the ID you can also open the chart of accounts, documents and linked documents.

Journal entry
Here is displayed the ID of the journal entry to which the cash receipt was posted.
Line
The line of the journal entry to which the cash receipt was posted
Account
Here is the account to which the posting was performed.
Debit
The amount posted to the debit side of the above account.
Credit
The amount posted to the credit side of the above account.
Document
The document, which is the basis for posting.
Doc. date
The document date from the journal entry line.
Link The ID of the linked document in the journal entry.
Value date The value date (due date), which is the same as the document date.

By clicking the Post button you post the selected document.

 

Subs. Accounts

In the overview of linked posts you can find information on how you closed the credit side of the post. This can be the receivable for the customer from the invoice issued, which is further closed by the cash receipt.

Displayed are all the records that were posted:

  • to the account for credit posting from cash receipt (e.g. 1200)
  • for the subject from the document
  • for the linked document from the line of the automatic posting of cash receipt
