How to connect the scanner to Pantheon program on your computer?

Step 1:

To transfer data from the barcode scanner you need a program that will transfer data from the scanner as a text file. You can use a program that you have received with the scanner (i.e. Percon File Transfer), or download a program from our internet server:

ftp.datalab.si/Pub/dsz.zip

Step 2:

Select in the Administration Panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Goods | Barcode Scanner the Barcode scanner input: Data is Entered By: Scanner is Connected to the Serial Port; Transfer File: c:\datalab\skprenos.txt; Scanner Utility: c:\percon\pal\ptfer skprenos.txt /r /P2 /n /x

(if interface is not COM2, replace P2 with Pn, where n is the number of the interface)

This example can be used with the Percon program.

If you use a DSZ program or similar, you have to change data in the Scanner Utility field.

How to read a barcode:

Use the scanner and read data about the receiving, issue or inventory (usually the code or quantity and serial number and quantity). Connect the scanner to the computer, open a new document and click the Scanner button 006580.gif.

On the barcode scanner activate the transfer procedure. The program will transfer the scanned content to the computer.

Click the Confirm button 000873.gif. The program will display which codes have been transferred correctly and which cannot be found in you database. Once, you have close the window, the program will display data in the document.
