Custom Fields






The Custom Fields panel allows you to define custom alphanumeric, numeric and date fields that will appear in the Items register and the Item categories register.
Additionaly you can define Attributes, that can then be selected in the Attributes panel of the Items register.
You can open the Custom Fields panel by selecting Settings | Items | Custom Fields in the Administration Panel.

Below si a desctiption of panel's features.
In this section you can select the name of the field and enter custom value or SQL statement.
Field no. |
Enter the name of the individual custom text field.
This name will be used when searching an item with the Ctrl-F function in the Items register and Item categories register.

You can enter data in custom fields manually. To simplify the procedure of entering, enter in the field for searching the SQL statement through which you can define data and tables that the program should offer for the entry. (For more information and use see Example on SQL statement for search in the Items register). |
In this section you can select the name of the numerical field.
Field n |
Enter the name of the individual custom numerical field.
This name will be used when searching an item with the Ctrl-F function in the Items register and Item categories register.

In this section you can select the name of the date field.
Field n |
Enter the name of the individual custom date field.
This name will be used when searching an item with the Ctrl-F function in the Items register and Item categories register.

In this section you can select the name of the field, enter custom value or SQL statement and select the attribute type.

Value |
You can enter data in custom fields manually. Type |
Select type of attribute. There are three options:
- (none) - Attribute has free entry
- Attribute can only have one value - Only one attribute of this type can be defined at Item.
- The attribute can have multiple values - Multiple attributes of this type can be defined at Item.
