Generating the 01D - Fixed Asset Groups report

PANTHEON

This report preview provides a list of fixed asset Groups and their Names. While it does not display individual fixed assets (FA), it is useful for reviewing the organization of groups.

Case summary

Due to administrative changes, the person responsible has been tasked with restructuring the fixed asset groups. To support this task, the report function is used to generate a complete list of all groups and their names, which is then printed out to allow multiple employees to work on the restructuring simultaneously.

This is done as follows:

  1. Accessing the Fixed Asset Groups register
  2. Generating the Report Preview
  3. Printing the Report

1. Accessing the Fixed Asset Groups register

The person responsible double clicks the Group field in the Header of the Fixed Assets register.

The Fixed Asset Groups register opens in a new tab.

In the next step, the person responsible generates the report preview.

2. Generating the Report Preview

The person responsible generates the report by clicking the Reports button in the Toolbar.

The 01D - Fixed Asset Groups report preview opens in a new tab. It contains the Group and Name columns, where all fixed asset groups from the register are listed.

In the next step, the person responsible prints out the report preview.

3. Printing the Report

The person responsible clicks the Print button in the toolbar of the report window

A new Print window opens, where the person responsible selects the correct Printer Name and clicks OK.

The person responsible has successfully generated the report and printed it out.
