Menu

       

The Menu tab allows you to customize the PANTHEON main menu for the selected user.

The form can be accessed by clicking the individual user on the Users panel in Administration Panel.

The form is made up of certain elements, which are described below.

1. Toolbar in the Menu tab

In this section, you can copy the menu structure from other principal and edit menu permissions.

 (Restore Defaults)

Click to reset to previous settings. The undo table is not deleted, so any changes to the menu settings are recorded and can be restored to the previous settings.

 (Refresh Main Menu)

Click to refresh the menu. 

HINT

The same functionality is available in the Wizard of Administration Panel.

From the drop-down list, select the principal (user) from which you want to copy menu structure.

 (Copy from Selected)

Click to copy the menu settings from selected principal to user, which is logged in into the program.

 (Group)

If the user is a member of a group, click the button to copy their settings to the group and apply to all users who are members of the group.

Show menues without permissions

If checked (), in the menu, subitems to which the user has no access are shown, but they are greyed out (inactive). The color of the main menu remains the same.

The checkbox is unchecked by default.

HINT

Checkbox is visible only on the user logged in into the program.

 

2. PANTHEON menu tree structure

In this section, you can hide menu items or change the order in the menu structure. 

HINT

You can change the order in the menu tree structure using the 'drag&drop' method.

 

Hidden

If checked (), user cannot see the Menu Item.

Hidden menu items are colored red.

Changed

If checked (), a change was made to default Menu Item.

HINT

Use Reset function with right click on the menu tree structure to undo changes to default value.

Permission

If checked (), there are sufficient permissions in Authorizations for Menu Item: Read, Write or Delete.

If the permission is set to None, the parameter Permission is disabled.

 

3. Right click on the menu tree structure

Right click with the mouse on menu tree structure displays the following options:

Hide

Hide the selected menu item. Hidden menu item is colored red and parameter in the grid is enabled.

Show

Hidden menu item is changed to be visible.

Reset

Reset or restore menu item to system Menu default.

Full Expand

Expand the menu tree structure in its entirety.

Full Collapse

Collapse the menu tree structure in its entirety.

 

HINT

To make it easier to review your settings between users, you can open the form in a separate tab or window. Read more in the chapter Settings (Comparing permissions).
