Menu

       

The Menu tab allows you to customize the PANTHEON main menu in general.

The form can be accessed from the Administration Panel by clicking the Menu panel.

WARNING

By changing/modifying menu, changes are instantly copied to all menus of the user.

The form is made up of certain elements, which are described below.

1. Header

In this section, you can set the name menu item, shortcut and other general settings for the PANTHEON menu.

Text

The name of the menu item as it is displayed in the menu.

Shortcut

The keyboard shortcut to the menu item. Shortcut can only be set for custom menus. Shortcut cannot be set for system menus.

Tip

The tip that is displayed in the status bar when hovering over the menu item with the mouse cursor.

Authorization

The authorization that should apply to the menu item.

Type

The type of the menu item, which can be:

  • Standard Selection
  • ARES
  • External Program
  • Menu Item

2. PANTHEON menu tree structure

In this section, you can edit the PANTHEON menu in general.

A detailed description of the elements and features on the form is described in the section Menu on the individual user panel in Users.

In the PANTHEON menu tree structure for menu in general, the last column displays the field Custom (and not Permission).

Custom 

If checked (), a new menu item is created.

 

HINT

You can change the order in the menu tree structure using the 'drag&drop' method.

3. Right click in the menu tree structure

A detailed description of the features is described in section Menu on individual user panel in Users.

When adding features with the right-click on the tree structure view, the following options are displayed.

Add Sibling

Adds a new item on the same level as the selected item.

Add Child

Adds a new item one level below the selected item, i.e. it creates a submenu.

Add line

Adds a line for menu item in the PANTHEON menu tree structure.

HINT

A Custom checkbox will be checked automatically.

Delete

Deletes the selected item.

WARNING

Only user-defined menu items can be deleted. Predefined menu items cannot be deleted, which is why a warning is displayed if you try to delete them. Read more in the chapter Standard menu items cannot be deleted!

 

WARNING

If there is no document type in the Document types register under a certain heading, then the menu items will not be displayed in the program main menu, however, menu headings are still displayed in the menu settings in Administration Panel.
