Metadata

The Metadata block allows you to define additional fields for collecting data on documents in Documentation.

Double-clicking the a block opens the Task edit form, which allows you to define the metadata you want to enter in an individual workflow step.

HINT

For a detailed description of the other fields on the form, see the chapter Task edit – general.

 

For the Metadata block to work properly, it is necessary to define the settings in the following sections:

1. Transfer to workflow variables

Form

By default, the TMNDocuments form is written in the field, which is already linked to the block with its corresponding variables and tables. For the block to work properly, do not modify this field.
