Period Overview

The Period Overview tab of the Schedule plan form offers a detailed view of the planned material needs over selected periods of time.  

The tab contains a filter for the selection of the data displayed in the table below. The table is divided into two parts. The first part displays basic data about the line item of the plan, and the second part displays the needed quantity of the line in the selected time period (day, week, month).

Below is a description of the form’s features:

1. Time period selection

In this section, you can select the time period for which the data in the Line needs according to the time period section will be displayed.

Different fields will appear according to the selected period for displaying data by the selected range.


1.1. Day

Date From

Enter the start date of the desired time period.

to

Enter the end date of the desired time period.

1.2. Week

Week From

Enter the number of the start week in the year of the desired time period.

To

Enter the number of the end week of the desired time period.

Year From

Enter the year of the start week of the desired time period.

1.3. Month

Month From

Enter the number of the start month in the year of the desired time period.

To

Enter the number of the end month of the desired time period.

Year From

Enter the year of the start month of the desired time period.

2. Filters

By using filters, you can select the data that is displayed in the table.

Item

From the dropdown menu, enter or select the ID of the item from the Items register.

Name

From the dropdown menu, enter or select the name of the item from the Items register.

Prim. Category

From the dropdown menu, enter or select the Primary Category of the item.

Sec. Categ.

From the dropdown menu, enter or select the Secondary Category of the item

Item Type

By checking the corresponding checkbox, select the desired Item Type.

Show only items with needs

By checking this checkbox, only lines with insufficient quantity will be displayed.

Refresh

By clicking the button, the data according to the filters and the selected time period is displayed in the table.

3. Basic data

In this section of the table, the basic data of the plan lines is displayed.

Item

Displays the ID of the line item from the Items register.

Name

Displays the name of the line item from the Items register.

U/M

Displays the unit of measurement of the line item.

Total

Displays the total material need of the line item.

4. Line needs according to the time period

In this section, the line needs according to the selected period (see section 1. Time period selection of this chapter) are displayed.

Every column in this section of the table represents a time period chosen (day, week, month). In each line, a material need for that time period is displayed.

By clicking the eye icon (), you open the Item Planed Qty Overview form, for a detailed view over item planned quantities.
