Overview of Detailed Cost Estimation

010383.gif

Detailed cost estimation is displayed after clicking Refresh Data in the Criteria panel.

Besides the Refresh Data button you can see a dropdown field Volume where you can set it as precise as 10, 100, 1000, ... units.

Below are listed panels where you can view data:

The Data panel displays calculation header of the item (ID) of the assembly (specification). That is, of the product, or more precisely, its name, unit of measurement.

000001.gif Order fields in any column in ascending order by right-clicking column title bar.

In the bottom section you can see specification of detailed cost estimation. Below you can see the lines appearing in specification.

First of all it displays item-related data, the assembly level. This is followed by lines of material and operations across all specification structure.

Level Displays a relative level of line across the entire assembly structure of the selected item. Thus, 1 represents tge first level (components integrated ddirectly in the selected item). On the other hand, 2 represents lines integrated in the above-mentioned level 1. And so on.
Alt. Displays an active alternate of the selected item (product) set when creating specification.
Line Displays number of line on some level of specification. It is set when creating specification.
Item Displays ID of line in specification.
Description Displays name of item.
U/M Displays primary unit of measurement used with the item.
Norm Displays gross quantity of an item required to manufacture 1 directly superordinate assembly (specificaton). It is expressed in the main unit of measurement. Total production time requried to process a specific line of operation at the directly subordinate assembly. Tsu is spread to the optimum quantity of series in production.
Price Price of lines of material (specification) at the lowest level (purchased materials represent components that cannot be further dismantled) are set according to calculation criteria for prices in cost estimation per unit of item. Prices in lines of operations are determined according to calculation criteria in cost estimation per 1 hour of production time. Prices of semi-finished products (in lines of assemly - specificatons) make up a total value of materials and operations in cost estimation from the lowest levesl to the current one. They are expressed per unit of measurement used with item. To put it differently, it is a total estimated cost of the semi-finished product according to the calculating criteria.
Value/Volume Displays a value of individual line in detailed cost estimation in regard to volume.
Quantity Displays a quantity in individual line making up volume.
Value/Quantity Displays a value of individual line in detailed cost estimation in regard to quantity.
Resource Displays ID of resource which is used in performing a specific operation.
Resource Name Displays name of the resource.
Item Type Displays ID of item type.
Prim. Cat. Displays ID of primary category of item.
Sec. Cat. Displays ID of secondary category of item.

Below you can see summary data of estimated cost of item:

Amount of Work Displays total production time requried for this item across specification. It's an total amount of production time of all operations required for in production of item.
Material Displays total amount of purchased material which was used in assembling the product.
Work Displays total amount of work required in assembling the product.
Total () Displays a total amount of work and material. It represents the final price of product in cost estimation according to the set calculating criteria.
Clicking  generates a detailed report of cost estimation.
