Regional Settings

Correct use of sibilants in PANTHEON depends on the settings in the Windows system (computer settings). The settings can be edited according to the server configuration, in the regional settings of the computer.

This chapter presents regional settings in the case of using a database with server collation in the Slovenian language (Slovenian_CI_AS).

WARNING

If your collation between the server and database is not coordinated, the Collation must first be changed with the Clotho program. For instructions on changing database collation, see the chapter Changing Collate.

When database collation is coordinated between the server and database, ou can edit regional settings. Regional Settings are accessed via the Control panel.

Into the search bar, the user enters Control panel and opens the application with a click.

In the Control panel, the user selects Clock and Region. View must be set to Category.

From the new opened form, the user selects Region.

A new window opens, where the user sets the format for the user's region. For the Format bar, the user selects Slovenščina (Slovenia) from the drop-down menu.

The user sees that clock and date formats change. The format change can also be checked in the Examples field.

In the regional settings, the user moves to the Administrative tab. Here, the user checks the settings for Language for non-Unicode programs.

The user clicks Change regional system settings and sets the settings to Slovenščina (Slovenija).

WARNING

The Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support checkbox must be unmarked.

The user confirms the settings by clicking the Use and Ok buttons.

After the settings are confirmed, the program requires the user to restart the computer. After restarting, PANTHEON is supposed to write sibilants and dates correctly.

The user clicks the Restart now button.
