Sheep/Goat Record
Animal record for sheep and goat contains information about individual tagged animals.
| Status |
Status enables user to trace individual animal through production stages. Some statuses are already preset. Status codebook can be found in Administration panel. You can also update calculation by clicking on Wizards button ( ). You can recalculate status for one animal or for all animals.

| Inv. No. |
Inventory number of animal. This number is shown if animal is added to Fixed assets. |
| FADN |
FADN Type is automatically calculated from purpose, sex and age of animal. Based on this calculation FADN Type is set and FADN reports are prepared. FADN type is recalculated at the beginning of a month, which prevents double entries. FADN types are calculated from FADN codebook. |
| Animal ID |
Unique animal ID. User enter information at record creation and it shouldn't be changed. |
| Int. Mark |
If animal has any internal marks, dedicated by farm, it can be recorded here. |
| Sex |
Sex of animal. |
| Breed |
Breed of animal. Breeds are predefined in Items. They can be added additionally in items. |
| Location |
Location (or group) where animal is located. Location has to be added in animal groups tab in holdings. Locations are filtered according to animal type set on group (in this case sheep, goat or no animal type). |
| Purpose |
Purpose of animal breeding is set from hard coded codebook. Based on that, tabs are hidden.User can choose from:

| Date of birth |
Date of animals birth. If animal is born on our farm, it is calculated automatically. If animals is bought, field has to be entered manually (DD:MM:LLLL form). |
| Age Y/M/D |
Field is calculated automatically based on date of birth and today's date. |
| Type |
Type of animal: Sheep or Goat. |
| Holding |
Holding were animal is located. This holding is determined by selected location of animal. |
| Color |
Color of individual animal. |
| Birth no. |
Number, that animal got at birth. |
| Genotype |
Genotype of animal. Data can be set from predefined genotype codebook. |
| Marking Date |
Date when animal was uniquelly marked (got animal ID). |
