Leave Formulas

Leave Formulas

Leave formulas are mathematical expressions which return value according to the entered variables, constants and operands.

Enter the following fields:

Name Enter name of formula, e.g. Leave for wood turners. It cannot exceed 20 characters.
Click it to test formula validity and open the Formula Builder window.

Line Displays a consecutive line number.
Description Enter a description of a specific formula.
Formula Enter a formula where you can also make use of the Formula Builder.
Note Enter a note to line giving a detailed description of formula.
00001.gif The results returned by formulas entered in lines are summed up.
 

 

The following message is returned whenever you change any part of formula and try to calculate days of leave for an individual or more than one employee:

Leave formula for one or more employees has been changed (XXX)! Recalculate leave for those employees?

You can use the following variables:

00001.gif Click the button to open the   Formula Builder window. Here you can find all relevant variables.

 

You can select the formulas in:

Administration Panel | Program Parameters | Personnel | Leave
 		 to set formula for all company employees
Positions of Employment
 		 to set formula for all employees at a specific position of employment
Personnel | Employee Files | Leave
 		 to set formula for an individual employee
00001.gif That is, the company formula is used if you have not set formula in Employee Files or Positions of Employment.
