Task Autorun
On the Task Autorun you can specify tasks that should be automatically started according to certain parameters.
You can specify to run an external program or a DPA, display a message or specific autodoctoring task.

1. Lines
Lines table is a list of tasks which will run according to the specified parameters.

Line |
The ID number of the task. |
Type |
The type of the task. Available options are:
- Program - starts an external program. Type in the full path to the program's executable in the parameters section below or browse by clicking Open Folder
button.
- ARES - starts an ARES applet. Select one from the list in the parameters section below.
- Message - displays a text message. Type in the message into the box in the parameters section below.
- Workflow - run specific workflow.
- Autodoctoring* - select predefined autodoctoring taska:
- Delete Old Records in Undo Tables
- Delete Duplicate Records in Undo Tables
- Referential Integrity Check
- Items with Negative Stock
- Unposted Trips
- Unbalanced Journal Entries
- Unposted Issued Invoices
- Unposted Received Invoices
- Unposted Payments
- Recalculate Prices and Refresh Stock

AD Type |
For AutoDoctoring tasks, which run through whole database and can take a long time to finish, are separated by additional AD Type = AutoDoctoring Type.
This enables specific types of AutoDoctoring to be executed in separate tasks (for example: on different intervals, in different time).
AD Types are predefined. All are listed above – under AutoDoctoring*.

2. Execution
Each task in the lines described above can have different run parameters. On the tab Execution the user can specify how and when autotasks are run.

Run |
Specify when the task should be started.
- At PANTHEON Start - the task will be run at every logon into PANTHEON.
This type requires no additional parametes.

- At Specified Time - the task will be run at the specified date and time.
Type in the date and, if required, time or select it from the date and time picker.

- Recurring - the task will be run on a regular basis, starting at the specified date and time.
Type in the date and, if required, time or select it from the date and time picker. Set the repeat interval under Repeat Every.

- Every n-th of Month - the task will be run on the set day of the month.
Type in on which day of the month the task should be run.

Start |
Date and time when task will start and run at the specified date and time. Available if selected parameter At Specified Time or Reacurring in the field Run. |
Repeat Every |
Repeat interval - unit (0, 1, 2, 3,...) of the task run, from specified start date and time in the field Start. Available if selected parameter Recurring in the field Run. |
Days |
Repeat interval - type of the task run, from specified start date and time in the field Start. Available if selected parameter Recurring in the field Run.
Available options:
- Days - Repeat interval of the task run, from specified start date and time, every N days
- Hrs - Repeat interval of the task run, from specified start date and time, every N hrs
- Minutes - Repeat interval of the task run, from specified start date and time, every N minutes
- Seconds - Repeat interval of the task run, from specified start date and time, every N seconds

Day in month |
Day in month when task will start and run. Available if selected parameter Every n-th of the Month in the field Run. |
Reports |
The box appears when you select Type ZEUS and Type AD ZEUS Reports. It is used to define ZEUS reports that should be automatically created. You can add multiple reports into the box by dividing them with delimiter ; and wthout spaces between report IDs.

ARES |
For task type ARES, select id of ARES script to execute.

HINT
When ARES id is 1000003 (Import Exchange Rates) two additional fields are shown - listed below: Central Rate and Do not show exchange rates import window.

Central rate |
This is a drop down list where you select a central exchage rate:
- Buy rate
- Sell rate
- Average rate (buy/sell rate)

Do not show exchange rates import window |
Check box. When checked it will show Exchage rates import window. When uncheck it will import exchage rates without asking.

Run on Automation Server |
If checked, task is executed on server where PANTHEON Automation server is running. When time comes for task to execute, Automation Server will start PANTHEON on server, and execute it.

NOTE
“Program” and “Message” task types are not supported to run on Pantheon automation server.

If unchecked, which is default, task is executed on client PANTHEON running under user selected in Users tab.
|
3. Parameters
On the Parameters tab Workflow and ARES task types (described in the point 1) can receive additional parameter on execution.

- Task Type: DPA and Message can have additional settings.
- For DPAs, parameters can be set.
- For Task Type: Messages, the text of the message can be typed in.

4. Users
On the Users tab we select users that are allowed to run the task.

On the left is a list of all program users, on the right are the users for which the currently selected task is active (active users).
Add a user to the active users list by double-clicking him/her or use the buttons between the lists. |
