Tasks in reproduction
Task planning in livestock reproduction is an extended functionality is an extended functionality of next expected reproduction event in calendar.
Default tasks
After upgrade on new version you first have to define default items to create tasks. If item are not defined, you will get IRIS message as seen below.
Click on first option will open administration panel where missing information have to be inserted. The default tasks that need to be defined are:
- insemination
- pregnancy check
- dry-off
- birth
You can insert any item, below there are just some suggestions.
Once these items are inserted, you can continue with recording data to PANTHEON Farming. If you also have information about time span between events (reproduction criteria), system will work as before. In the background order for each animal is created with reproduction tasks (items) added to order.
Functionality will be later used for:
- task viewing in ZEUS
- planned/done comparisson (to see how many days is actually between two tasks)
- plan future tasks for individual workers
- postoponing, reassiginng tasks to other workers
- review of missed tasks
