Upgrade – newPOS

What the upgrade means and how it works is explained in the chapter How does the upgrade work?  

The database where you're logged in has to have an upgrade agreement to upgrade it and other databases. 

The basic information about the upgrade procedure is presented in the chapter Upgrade

Version 556200 and newer uses the Clotho upgrade program
to upgrade the program and databases. Upgrades for program versions older than 556200 are performed according to the old procedure directly in Pantheon, without Clotho.

Upgrading newPOS can be done in the service module (located in the installation folder of newPOS, default C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\DataLab\NewPOS_SQL service, password newpos). By pressing the Upgrade button (Picture 1), the Clotho upgrade module opens (Picture 2). The novelty of upgrading the newPOS is the newPOS category where you can select to upgrade the newPOS programs.

After a successful upgrade, you also need to perform the Quick upgrade.
