Using Accounting Dashboard through Task Scheduler
Controls execution or automatic posting on multiple databases can be a big time comsuming job. That's why we have prepaired option to execute such jobs through Task Scheduler for exemple over night.
Steps to prepaire task over Task Scheduler are:
- Select which tasks will be executed.
- Save selected settings on Form Template.
- Create Task Scheduler task for saved Form template.
Select which tasks will be executed
First you select databases, checks and automatic posting options:
Save selected settings on Form Template
When you select these options, you must save Form template (first icon in the navigator in the top right corner of the form):
Create task for saved Form template
Now you can use saved template to create Task Scheduler task:
After clicking Save button task is added to Windows Task scheduler.

By default this parameters are set /L=AD: /ACC_REPORT=AD
/L=AD:password - program will run with user AD. If the right side of character : is empty, no password is required.
/ACC_REPORT=AD - Report receiver will be AD. Primary email address of the user is used.
/ACC_STAY - This parameter instruct Pantheon to stay open after finishing the controls and postings.
/ACC_TEMPLATE=Form_template_name - the name of the form template to be loaded before execution.

We can choose between Once, Daily and Weekly execution.

Task is added in the following order:
- Button Add is clicked
and Task Name is entered.
- Parameters are changed if needed.
- Frequency of the execution is set.
- Button Save is clicked

Added task is visible in the bottom window:
When task is run, user gets report for the execution or errors when posting:
