Entering Text into Note in RTF Format

On all the documents in PANTHEON, there is the option to enter a note that can be seen in related documents and reports. The position of the note field depends on the document type (the image below is an example of an issue document 3000 – Sales).

1. Entering the note directly into the input field
We can enter the note directly into the Document note field in the document window. This is done by selecting the field. We can start entering the text when the flashing cursor appears.

2. Entering the note via the text editor
Double-clicking into the note field of a document opens the Text editor, which allows us to further format the text.

2.1. Text editor toolbar
The form toolbar is used to manage the Text editor.

2.2. Clipboard
The clipboard contains text management tools.
It contains the following tools:
- Paste (Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut)
- Cut (Ctrl+X keyboard shortcut)
- Copy (Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut)
- Select all (Ctrl+A keyboard shortcut)
2.3. Text editing tools
Text editing tools are divided into six groups:
Font |
Tools for selecting fonts, their size, color, format, input mode, symbol selection, etc. |
Paragraph |
Tools for formatting paragraphs, marking, numbering, etc. |
Editing |
Tools for undoing and redoing, searching through the text and changing passwords. |
Hyperlink |
A tool for managing hyperlinks in the text. |
Pictures |
A tool for inserting image files into the text. |
Attachments |
A tool for uploading attachments to the text. |
2.4. Text input field
We enter the desired text into the text input field.
