1) Install MS SQL 2005 Express edition.

2) Attach existing PANTHEON 5.0 database (latest build). It would be practical to have an empty PANTHEON 5.5 database on the FTP server, eliminating step 3 and 4 with new clients.

3) Install PANTHEON 5.5 - custom install, not installing MSDE and databases.

4) Migrate the database from 5.0 to 5.5. It is recommended to download the database upgrade in apply it locally (upgrade with Download Upgrades option disabled).

5) Upgrade to latest beta version.
