Insemination
We will look at an example for:
1. Cattle insemination
2. Pig insemination
1. Cattle insemination
In this tab, you can edit all relevant data for the first insemination of an animal.

To make work a little easier, the
button has been added. Clicking it will carry out the following functions:
- Controls:
- Fill the following fields:
- Cert. number
- Inseminator code
- Cow/Heifer
Certificate No. |
Enter a GO insemination certificate number. This Field is obligatory. If you don't fill it, the program will display an error (see Entering certificate number is obligatory!).

Estrus duration in hours |
Enter Fertile period duration in hours. |
Cow/Heifer |
Enter or select if you are inseminating a cow or heifer. |
Estrus type |
Enter or select fertile period type. You can select between the following options:
- Regular
- Irregular
- Silent
- Short
- Long

Last calving date |
Enter the date of the last calving. If the date is if the date is greater than today we get a message

Calving course |
Enter or select calving course. You can select between the following options:
- No help
- With help of one person
- With help of two or more people and/or mechanical help
- Veterinary help
- C-section or other surgical procedure
- Fetotomy

Fertility disorders |
Enter or select fertility disorders. You can select between the following options:
- Birth canal injury
- Ret. Secundarium
- Uterus involution disorders
- Endometritis
- Vaginal prolapse
- Uterine prolapse
- Twisted uterus
- C- section
- Fetotomy
- Cystic degeneration
- Post-birth palsy
- Digestive disorders
- Ketosis
- Infection
- Intoxication

Sire name |
Enter or select sire name. When you select or enter the name, the following fields are filled:
- Sire ID
- Sire Reg. No
- Semen ser. No. -> it takes the first serial number entered in Item registry

Sire ID |
The ID of the sire (bull) that inseminated the cow. |
Sire Reg. No. |
The registration number of the sire (bull) that inseminated the cow. |
Semen Ser. No. |
Enter or select semen serial number. If Sire ID is empty, then the semen serial numbers from all sires are shown.
If the fields Sire name, ID and Reg. No. are empty, they are filled after selecting the semen serial number. |
Bull Dam |
Enter or select if the cow is the dam of a bull or not. |
Inseminator ID |
The ID of the veterinarian who conducts the insemination. |
Abortion during Month of Pregnancy |
Enter the month of pregnancy, when the abortion took place. |
Total No. |
This number is calculated automatically |
Sex |
Enter or select the sex of the calves. You can select between next options:

Destiny |
destiny "Normal" is filled up automatically. Then if we enter data in destiny Low vitality, Stillborn, deformed in this case number in Normal decreasing |
2. Pig insemination
