When changing account code a general message is
returne first informing you that the
primary register key changed - that is, code of account. Then you have to
confirm the procedure once again when the old account code together woth the new
one is displayed.
Account code is the primary key of Chart of
Accounts, which to put it simply means that you ought to change codes both in
the record in the register as well as in all dependent records, stored in
database, when changing codes (posts, settings of automatic posting, etc.).
