Scroll bars, window resizing

The display of content in the PANTHEON window can be controlled by changing the size of the window. When there is too much data to display on the selected screen or window size, the Scroll bar will appear.

Table of contents

  1. Scroll bars
  2. Resizing the window

1. Scroll bars

The Scrollbars are used to move content around the window area. They appear on the screen whenever there is more data than can be presented in the window. Scroll bars can be moved by selecting them with the mouse and moving the mouse as desired, or by selecting the (up) and (down) icons.

2. Resizing the window

We can enlarge or reduce the size of the windows as desired. To do this, we position the cursor over the edge or corner of the window. When the mouse cursor changes into a double arrow to resize the window (e.g., ), we press and hold the left mouse button and resize the window as desired.

On some windows that consist of several parts it is also possible to change the size of an individual part of the window. We can spot where exactly this feature is available when the cursor turns into an icon, which indicates the possible direction of resizing (vertical or horizontal):

To increase or decrease the size of a part of the window, left-click the 25488.gif icon and move it in one of the directions indicated by the arrow (left-right or up-down).

WARNING

If the Save window layouts (u) option is enabled in the program parameters, the program will register the user-selected window layout settings for each work station. The modified window size can then be cancelled to restore the default settings in two ways:
