Security

Security tab brings all security settings for individual user together, where you can copy permissions or membership from source principal to selected user, adding or removing members of for groups and editing permissions fo r working with databases on server.

The form can be accessed by clicking the individual user on the Users panel in Administration Panel.

The tab is made up of certain sub-tabs, which we describe below.

• General -  offers copying permissions and/or membership from other users and editing permissions for selected user.
• Permissions - allows to manage user permissions on authorizations tree.
• Members - is inactive tab on individual user. Tab is active by Groups.
• Member Of - allows adding or removing user to differenr usergroups.
• Databases - offers copying permissions and/or memberships from user to the same user on other databases, on the same SQL server instance.

HINT To make it easier to review your settings between users, you can open the form in a separate tab or window. Read more in chapter Settings (Comparing permissions).
