Small Tools

Small Tools typically refer to low-cost, durable items, such as office supplies, which are essential for day-to-day operations but are not considered large assets or equipment. They are typically expensed immediately rather than being capitalized, given their low cost and shorter useful life.

The Small Tools register in PANTHEON enables comprehensive monitoring of the small tools’ entire life cycle, including Acquisition, Depreciation calculation, and Deactivation.

The Small Tools register is identical to the Fixed Assets register, so its description can be found in the Fixed Assets guide. Any differences between both registers, such as unique fields or options found only in the Small Tools register, are also described in detail in the Fixed Assets register guide.

The form can be accessed from the menu Financials | Fixed Assets| Small Tools.

Hint

Examples of how to use Small Tools register are described on the corresponding pages of the User Manual for PANTHEON.
