Variable #xx# not Defined Here!

The pricing formula test also checks whether we have used an allowed variable name between the two hash marks (for a list of allowed variables, see Pricing formulas). If there is a variable that is not in the list between the two hash marks, the formula testing returns the following error.

Expressions that fail the Check pairs are also written out, and formula testing puts us on the problematic input so that it is easier to correct it.

When we click the OK button, the program places the cursor at the point in the formula where the error occurred.

There is a suggested solution: enter one of the existing variables into the formula.

Correct Incorrect
#PRICE# #PRICE#
#PURPRICE# #PURCHASEPRICE#
#WSPRICE1# #WSPRICE#
