Send ePacking Slip

To send an e-packing slip, create a packing slip document, convert it to an electronic format (such as eSLOG) and send it as an e-packing slip to the customer through an electronic mailbox. The customer receives the e-packing slip and creates a receiving document.

CASE SUMMARY
The person responsible in the Tecta company wants to send an e-packing slip to the customers for delivered tents. This is done as follows:
- Exporting an e-packing slip to eDocumentation
- Sending an e-packing slip

1. Exporting an e-packing slip to eDocumentation
The person responsible selects Goods | Issue | Internal and the suitable document type.
- In this case, the person responsible selects the document type 3500 – Packing Slip (consolidated) and creates a packing slip from the confirmed order.
- In the toolbar of the packing slip, the person responsible clicks the
(Import/Export Data) button, then selects the Export eDocument Packing Slip feature.

- The person responsible follows the instructions in the chapter Export Document as e-Slog and exports the packing slip to eDocumentation.
- The e-packing slip is stored in eDocumentation and gains the status Send.

2. Sending an e-packing slip
In the toolbar of the Documents form, the person responsible selects the
(Import/Export Data) and the Send eDocument to bizBox eWorkflow.
This feature forwards the e-packing slip to the customer through an electronic mailbox.

HINT
- The Send to bizBox eWorkflow forwards all eDocuments in eDocumentation with the status Send to the recipient through an electronic mailbox.
- After sending, the sent e-documents gain the status Finished.
- When sending, return receipts are automatically created, which contain data about successfully sending and receiving the e-document. For more information, see the chapter Send eInvoice.
