Defining SMS and Email Notification Service Settings

Customers can be notified about a received order, reminded of an arranged appointment, notified about a special sales offer, etc., via email or SMS message.
The notification process is controlled by predefined workflows.
The following steps are needed for the business processes connected with SMS and email notification services to work:
To send SMS messages or use the SMS notification service, the SMS notification service must be activated beforehand.

The exchange of SMS notifications using the predefined workflows takes place in the eSMS service Mailbox, which can be downloaded via Web service to the register.

To ensure that SMS messages are successfully sent to subjects, the Subjects | General tab must have the telephone number and email of the subject, where notifications will be sent to.

HINT
- For PANTHEON VET license users the imput of contact numbers and email is more detailed. See the chapter Entering an animal owner chapter.
- In order for the program to send a message to the owner, the checkbox next to the Mobile imput field must be selected. This signifies that the owner consents to SMS messaging notifications.
