To create a report of product specification select Structural Spec in the Spec Reports window and click the report button.
It is the so-called structural report of lines of material and lines of operations (assembly parts, ingredients, components) of a product specification. You can select level of structure thus representing lines and assembly parts contained in the specification. Information on the selected specification is displayed first. This is followed by components in consecutive order. The same order is used in specifying lines into specification structure depths.
Here you can restrict displayed data by a specific item type.

Report name as set in Document Types settings - in this case Structural Spec - appears here. |
Level |
Displays the level of assembly in line of material. Level 0 represents the initial level of the selected specification. Level 1 represents its assebly parts, etc. |
Line |
Displays number of line in parent product specification. |
Alt. |
Displays alternate of line in parent product specification. |
Item |
Displays an item ID. |
Name |
Displays a short text giving description of item (naming it). |
Item Type |
Displays an item type. |
Prim. Categ. |
Displays ID of primary category of product. |
Sec. Cat. |
Displays ID of secondary category of product. |
Quantity |
Displays quantity in line. A unit of measurement is used here, that is, batch in line for a specific quantity if Recalculate Requirements is checked. If you have not checked it. the displayed quantity of material is equivalent to product quantity. That is, volume. |
U/M |
Displays unit of measurement used (primary unit of measurement). If the primary U/M is not specified in the Items register, then the report displays the one from product specification.
