To create a report of product specification select Use of Tools in Parent Assemblies in the Spec Reports window and click the report button.

It is shown here how a specific tool is integrated in directly subordinate assemblies (specifications) belonging to an operation in product specification. That is, it displays directly subordinate assemblies and quantity of tools for lowest level.

Here you can observe the following data:

 

Report Name Displays report name Use of Tools in Parent Assemblies as set in Document Types settings.
(criteria) Displays criteria used in creating a report.
Tool Displays ID of the tool being integrated.
(name) Displays name of tool.
Operation Displays the operation to which the tool is assigned.
Level Displays the level of assembly in line of material. Level 0 represents the level of operation in specification. Level 1 represents its assebly parts, etc.
Line Displays number of line containing the operation with the tool.
Alt. Displays alternate containing the operation with the tool.
Item Displays ID of product in operation.
Name Displays name of product in operation.
Item Type Displays ID of item type in operation.
Prim. Categ. Displays ID of primary category of item in operation.
Sec. Cat. Displays ID of secondary category of item in operation.
U/M Displays the unit of measurement used.
Quantity Displays quantity of the tool specified for operation. It is only displayed at the first, that is, lowest level.
